The Giving Back Group provides real estate services to people throughout the Denver area, but with a touching twist—20% of our commission goes to our client’s choice in their name! Which charity should you choose? There are so many incredible Denver charities that it’s tough to pick just one, so we rounded up a list of the top five:
Outpaws Animal Rescue
The team at Outpaws looks at themselves as matchmakers, working hard to find foster and forever homes for furry, four-legged friends in Denver. Besides helping animals find a new home, Outpaws serves as an informational resource for pet owners in the area. If you are a true animal lover, their Grey Muzzle Program, which focuses on the rescue and medical treatment of older dogs, will warm your heart. Donate and shop

StandUp For Kids
There are many Denver charities dedicated to improving the lives of children, including StandUp For Kids. This national charity focused on ending youth homelessness has a branch located in the Denver area. StandUp For Kids offers anger management sessions, financial management, study skills classes, and social events for homeless or at-risk children. Kids can also get help studying for the GED, looking for a job and building their resumes.
A Precious Child
It’s tough to think that some children do not have what they need to go back to school this year, but it’s the sad truth. Luckily, Denver charities such as A Precious Child make sure these disadvantaged children have the clothing, sports equipment, school supplies and toiletries they need to be successful.
Cancer League of Colorado
The Cancer League of Colorado is just one of the many Denver charities that people in the community can get involved with. The charity hosts dozens of events throughout the year that raise funds for cancer research, including fun runs and marathons, luncheons, and even rappelling! The Cancer League of Colorado has even partnered with the University of Colorado Cancer Center to join forces on the mission to discover new treatments and therapies for this disease.
Project Angel Heart
The mission of Project Angel Heart is to make a difference in the lives of people suffering from life-threatening illnesses. Founded in 1991, Project Angel Heart delivers meals to over 2,800 Denver residents on an annual basis. The founder was inspired to create this charity after learning about the struggles these sick individuals face. Although they are trying to fight off illnesses, they often do not have the resources to take care of themselves and eat nutritious foods, thus becoming more ill. Project Angel Heart partners with local restaurants and corporate sponsors to change all of that for people in the Denver community.
