What Our Partners Are Saying

"The Giving Back Group is a phenomenal example of the potential power of philanthropy that anyone can exude. Rick Avery is so passionate about everything he does – from making a first-time home purchase a positive experience to supporting a variety of charities in the process. As a large non-profit, Children’s Hospital Colorado is so grateful for folks like Rick for their advocacy and commitment to helping their communities. Because of their gifts, we are able to treat more kids with better research and equipment. Thank you Rick!.”
Kacie Thomas

"The Giving Back Group demonstrates how small decisions can make huge impacts. The seemingly personal choice of which realtor to use can support the non-profits who work every day to make our community a stronger, better place. The Park People cannot plant trees and preserve Denver’s parks without community support, and we are grateful to be beneficiaries of this program. Thank you, Giving Back Group!”
Kim Yuan-Farrell
Executive Director, The Park People

"From our very beginnings, Make-A-Wish® Colorado was a grassroots, collaborative movement based on inspiration and the impact a wish can create for a child, their family, and the community. Granting the true, heartfelt wish of a child facing a critical illness would not be possible without the partnership of people like Rick Avery, founder of The Giving Back Group. Rick understand that wishes matter, and we thank him for sharing the power of a wish®."

Scott Dishong
C.E.O., Make-A-Wish, Colorado

"Food for Hope is honored to be a partner with the Giving Back Group. Our mission is to address the issue of childhood hunger in Adams County.

Hunger impairs a child’s ability to become a productive, contributing member of his or her classroom. In addition, suffering from hunger at a young age can have long-lasting, negative psychological and physiological effects. Receiving consistent nutrition on days when they were previously underfed will help build better educated and healthier members of our current and future community. Contributions received from this partnership will help our organization reach as many children as possible with our nutritional assistance. We extend our sincere gratitude to Rick and his group for their support."

Emily Stromquist
Executive Director, Food For Hope

"Rick and his team at Giving Back Group illustrate the impact our local businesses can have on a community. Thank you Giving Back Group!”

“On behalf of the survivors we serve, we are truly grateful to be a part of the Giving Back Group, RE/MAX Alliance. SafeHouse Denver is the only agency in the City and County of Denver that provides a full continuum of care for survivors of domestic violence. We operate a 24-hour Crisis and Information Line for survivors, as well as friends and family members who are seeking information. We provide emergency shelter and an Extended Stay Program, where former shelter residents can access one to three months of temporary housing as they work to find more long term living situations and other self-sufficiency related resources. We also offer non-residential counseling and advocacy for those in need of services but not emergency housing. Every donation we receive is vital and ensures that all of our services are provided at no cost to survivors. Removing financial barriers allows survivors to concentrate on healing and building futures free from domestic abuse.”
Heather Schreck
Annual Giving & Events Manager, SafeHouse Denver
