Over the past 30 years, we have distributed more than 50,000 free and low-cost trees to Denver residents. Along with the environmental benefits these trees bring, they have beautified Denver’s neighborhoods and generated millions of dollars in economic benefits by, for example, increasing property values and reducing water use.
The Park People also raises money to preserve one of Denver's most prized assets: our park system. We have raised funds to renovate the famous sundial in Cranmer Park and to maintain the interactive fountains at City Park, the boathouse at Washington Park, the Pavilion at Cheesman Park, the Civic Center Esplanade, and much more.
